Lucas Newland

Founder

A man on a mission, Lucas Newland fearlessly drives innovation in Performing Arts and Creative works. Throughout his successful career Lucas has moved across Theatre, Corporate Events, Film and Television, making him a hallmark figure in the Australian performing arts landscape.

Newland has vast experience in staging, choreographing, directing and producing. His choreographic works include the Australian Production of Green Day’s “American Idiot”, “L’Hotel” for the Sydney Opera House, “Velvet” International Tour featuring Marcia Hines & for Norwegian Cruise Lines, “Absinthe” for Speigelworld at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, (Winner of “Best Show in Vegas”), “Vegas Nocturne – Rose.Rabbit.Lie” at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and “Pigalle” for Sydney Festival.

In film and television, he has choreographed and directed movement for campaigns such as Masterchef, Big Brother, Celebrity Apprentice, Australia’s Got Talent, Next Top Model, Live to Dance and the Nescafe TVC featuring Ricky Martin.

Finally, Lucas has a reputation of training and nurturing the world’s most sought-after performing artists, at Brent Street, Australia’s Home of Performing Arts. A powerhouse dance, singing and acting training facility of over 1000 current students, Brent Street has graduates performing across the biggest cities in the world, in Artist World Tours, Broadway Musicals, Touring Productions and more.

Driven to generate opportunity and a flourishing industry for the next generation, Lucas has just begun his journey as an investor in theatrical productions, with new works set to open on Broadway and West End in the coming year. Back on home turf, Lucas has created the Brent Street Artist Fund, a $20,000 grant to new works by Australian Performing Artists, in addition to over $100,000 personally-paid scholarships and bursaries to Brent Street students each year.

Samuel McKeown II

Agency Manager & Talent Agent

Samuel hails from the island of Hawaii and now happily calls Australia home.

Samuel is a creative professional with extensive performance, management and administration experience in the entertainment sector. He is a highly experienced performer, in Australia and internationally, on both stage and screen. Samuel has excelled in people management positions in the performance, fashion and entertainment industries. Samuel has a BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University Nevada Las Vegas. Having spent over three years working on the team at Morrissey Management with mentor Mark Morrissey, Samuel is read to build on his strong creativity, vision, and passion for working with performing artists.

Some of his performance highlights have been performing in the legendary Las Vegas shows Siegfried & Roy, Legends in Concert and Jubilee, as well as the feature film The Sapphires. He spent time abroad with singing and dancing roles at Tokyo Disney and on board a number of Princess Cruises. He also has graced the Australian stages performing in GFO’s Bodyguard The Musical, performing with Sydney Showboats, along with touring and filming television series for the legendary group The Wiggles.

As the entertainment industry is ever changing, Samuel’s goal is to propel the agency forward into a full-service agency with elite talent and industry leaders. In this position Samuel will encourage, engage and support the vast array of diverse creatives that encompass the entertainment industry.

Lauren Wilkins

Talent Booker

Lauren’s background is an inspiring blend of performer, producer, and entrepreneur. She has graced stages internationally, crafted and produced award-nominated shows featured at the Adelaide Fringe, and established her own production company with a significant emphasis on bringing entertainment to regional communities and providing local performers with opportunities. Additionally, her past roles include serving as a booker for corporate and private functions, offering her an in-depth understanding of the industry and performer management.

Lauren’s performance career has expanded over many years. Her main professional credits include Sydney Showboats, Weihnachtscircus in Germany, multiple contracts at sea with Norwegian Cruise Lines and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Lauren has also been a featured dancer for Ministry of Dance, ABCs television drama, “Wakefield” and Australia’s Got Talent.

Coupled with her inspiring career in the arts, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Education from Charles Sturt University. From her degree she displays refined skills in people management and encompasses a nurturing and wholistic approach to all she does. Lauren has a deep passion for developing talent and assisting performers to continue to gain fulfilment from the industry and their professional journeys.
