The creation of Focus Talent Management following his recent acquisition of Brent Street is providing Lucas Newland with a unique opportunity. With immediate access to the best coaches, mentors and facilities in the country Lucas brings a fresh, dynamic approach to artist management.

Recently, Newland choreographed the hit live disco show “Velvet” featuring Marcia Hines. Other choreography credits include “Absinthe” for Speigalworld at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, winning “Best Show in Vegas” for 4 consecutive years.

After working with Director Wayne Harrison in Vegas, and following his success with “Absinthe”, Newland was called upon again to create critically acclaimed “Vegas Nocturne” Rose.Rabbit.Lie at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

In recent years his work has been featured on multiple television commercial campaigns including Master Chef, Big Brother, Celebrity Apprentice, Australia’s Got Talent, Next Top Model, Live to Dance, Louis Spence’s “Showbusiness” and the Nescafe TVC featuring Ricky Martin.

Throughout his successful performing career Lucas has moved across Musical Theatre, Corporate Events, Live Television and has a string of acting credits, including Home & Away and All Saints.

Passionate and determined to make a positive impact on Australia’s entertainment industry, Newland is a man on a mission to generate more opportunities for performers.

Natalie Duarte

Artist Management, PR Consultant, Performer, Teacher and Producer. This is the experience Natalie brings to Focus Talent Management to ensure artists receive quality guidance and representation.

Natalie has solid experience in entertainment and has held a variety of roles in her professional career in the industry. Natalie brings knowledge across all mediums having worked in TV, Film and Theatre both in Australia and abroad. Roles span from lead actress in various TV adverts and stage shows; lead singer in numerous live productions and was a member of Channel Nine’s children television show, ‘Hi 5’. Natalie also performed in the Disney production of High School Musical at the Capitol Theatre.

Natalie’s first experience as a talent agent was working for the late Australian celebrity manager, Mark Byrne. From that moment she wanted to be an arts facilitator. Assisting others in reaching their career goals is something she is passionate about and finds rewarding.

Recently she relocated from London, where she worked in PR and Events. Natalie worked for ZSL London in the Arts and Culture Department as the Assistant Events Evaluator. Previous to this she worked on various large scale events in London, including the BT River Music event at Somerset House, and as the PR & Events Co-ordinator for artFix, where she thrived on building profiles for emerging artists across sculpture, fine art and film.

Natalie is a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance Studies, Dance and Education. Her experience in teaching across all ages and performance abilities allows her to mentor Focus Talent Management representatives in a sensitive and unique way.

Jenni Anderson

Jenni Anderson brings a wealth of experience to her associate role in Focus Talent Management. Originally from New Zealand, Jenni worked in television as a resident dancer eventually moving into acting roles including the New Zealand tour of  ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ playing the role of Janet.

After moving to Australia she continued working as an actor, dancer, singer and teacher. Professional television credits include ‘Water Rats’ and ‘All Saints’, numerous television commercials and corporate videos and in music theatre the Australian touring production of ‘Nine.’

Jenni is a qualified Speech and Drama teacher (AMEB) and has also worked as a second language teacher. Before coming to Brent Street, where she now heads up the Brent Street Agency, Jenni worked in production as an event manager on large scale corporate events and internal communication programmes.

She has also worked as a script writer for corporate videos and websites and is a qualified Pilates instructor. The mentoring of young talent is an enduring passion Jenni brings to Brent Street Agency and Focus Talent Management.
